Funeral Sex
There is something irresistible about grief, I have decided. In the days and weeks following my girl's passing, I had scads of available women throwing themselves at me. I didn't see it that way at the time, for the most part, brushing the attention off as people just being nice. In hindsight, however, I can now see that many of these doting women definitely wanted to give me more than a hug.
Perhaps it is the naked vulnerability, perhaps it is the life-affirming nature of lovin', I'm not sure, but I do know this seems to be a universal phenomena. So, if you find yourself in this position, don't question the propriety or morality and go as your heart leads you.
(What, me? Okay, well, so awash in grief was I that I did not take advantage of any of the opportunities offered to find solace in the arms of another. Do I regret not doing so? It depends on the day you ask me...)

Just been directed to your blog by Charles of the "Good Funeral Guide."
Salutations and respect to you. You come across as a sane, clear-minded honest person and I hope bereaved people discover your blog, because it's what blogs are for- to inform, help, guide, stimulate, from the front line. So thanks.
Though maybe the recently-bereaved should not start off with your hilarious video clip...or actually maybe they should? It is a recognised phenomenon. Though I ought to add that it doesn't seem to happen with funeral officiants...
Thanks again, and very best wishes.
You know as a woman who lost her man, I have not had the same experience. But maybe that's because I rarely leave the house since his passing. It's been like 2 years now & I'm not sure I would have found this blog as interesting as I do now. Laughter is good therapy after getting past a certain point~ but I think it depends on the circumstances surrounding your lover's death.
